Although Martin Jondo seems like someone who just came out of the blue, but before his brakethough with his song Rainbow Warrior - he did a lot of background music with a lot of people.ĭue to his short present on these songs, people couldn't really get a hold of who it was. Now with his new belief he was seeking his past through the nature, with guitar in his case and his new religion he created his first songs. Martin Jondo, ½ German (father) and ½ Korean (mother), was born 1979 in Berlin. First full length album Echo & Smoke came 2006 and his latest, Pink Flowers, 2015. In 2005 Jondo released his debut-EP Rainbow Warrior. He is known for songs as 'Rainbow Warrior' (2005), 'Jah Gringo' (2006) and 'Rivers' (2013). Cooperation with German reggae artist Gentleman from 2002, was the start of Jondo's carrier. He learned to play guitar and made his first songs. He came in contact with reggae in mid-90s found the Rastafarian culture. Korean-German Martin Jondo was born 1979 in Berlin.
